We've set up our own 501(c)(3) charity, and here's why.

Turkish ministries often struggle to efficiently receive international donations. Using large organizations means losing significant funds to overhead, and informal channels would place legitimate, legal ministries at needless risk.

A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer-staffed organization with close ties to the ministries keeps things 100% official while achieving our goal of getting nearly 100% of funds to their intended destinations.

To make certain our dream becomes a reality, we take no salaries and work remotely. Our overhead is capped at 3%.
